U.S. Coast Guard LT Audie Andry, a recent graduate of the NGS Kodiak 310 cohort, has been named "Pilot of the Year" by the Helicopter Association International (HAI) for his composure, quick thinking and skilled airmanship during an emergency landing in September 2010.

Ms. Elin McGuire Named to NGS Board of Advisors

 

The National Graduate School is pleased to announce the latest addition to its Advisory Board, Ms. Elin McGuire, Executive Director, Quality Assurance, Estee Lauder Companies.  Elin is an accomplished quality professional with over twenty years of cross-functional experience in positions of increasing responsibility for a global Fortune 500 company with proven experience in supply chain, quality, materials, and manufacturing.  She has held various positions in industrial engineering, supply chain, and quality at a number of Philips Lighting’s locations. This experience makes Ms. McGuire an ideal member of the NGS Advisory Board.  In this role, she will use her vast knowledge in the field of Quality to guide, support and help develop and expand NGS accredited degree programs.

Spring 2011 Graduation Celebration

 

The 2011 spring graduation celebration will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Arlington, Virginia at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22201 at 2:00 pm EST.

Meet the Librarian

Cecilia Mullen

 

Cecilia Mullen comes to the National Graduate School with extensive experience as a librarian in academic institutions. In her new position with NGS, Cecilia looks forward to meeting all of the faculty and staff and as many students as possible.  In her capacity as Virtual Librarian, she is able to connect with students and faculty through email or telephone, regardless of their location.  She is able to assist and guide them with their information needs, with the goal of helping t hem to establish proficiency in research methods which achieve comprehensive and authoritative information results.   She is interested to learn the specific research topics that the students are addressing.  Log in and say hello and let her know your suggestions.
